"W" - economical name...not prone to spelling mistakes...easy to remember...easy to sign.. I like it :D

If he says anything, that will be indeed newsworthy!

Personally PW2, I think he said a lot. A lot of very clear, simple comments that I tend to agree with. Anyone that knows me well will tell you I am far from being a sheeple, but when it comes to keeping us safe from people who announce daily that they want us all dead, I am VERY happy to follow this guy ;)

Ditto to you ..only change newsworthy to noteworthy...<br /><br />PW, you seem to be on edge lately. Alot of emotion in your posts. Not the calm and crafted words you usually articulate. I hope you feel better new week. :)

Prolly so Spinner. I am on a quest though. This is as close to a response that I can get from PW. P'ed him O somewhere methinks. I believe he is the most logical voice from the left here (sorry JK and CJY). I would love to have an honest dialogue. Bright guy, seems like it would be fun and possibly enlightening ;)

W, it is simple. Do you know why he is called that? He could not spell GWB! :D :p

I'm not left, unless W is our Pres. I simply dislike W, nothing more, nothing less. If Colin Powell runs, I would absolutely vote for him!

Re: Anybody else listening to W?

George Bush (AKA "W") spoke at some sort of military establishment today in FL. Friendly audience for sure, but I thought he was wonderful! Took some cracks at his brother. Cracks at himself. Made it clear why he doesn't comment about hunting accidents or Al Gore. Spoke seriously as well. He was candid, and very believable.<br /><br />As codboy has noted, felt like the good kind of good ol' boy. I posted after the State of the Union that if taken literally, it is hard for me to see why he is reviled by so many. I saw even more of that today and he also looked reasonably comfortable in his own skin :D

All I can say is this.<br />I had the great honor of meeting "W" when he was on one of his 2 stops in Huntington, Wv.<br />I got to shake his hand and let me tell you he is more of a good ol boy than most realize.<br /><br /><br />(9711)

"A lot of very clear, simple comments that I tend to agree with." <br /><br />The emphasis when W speaks is on the simple, no question...<br /><br />My problem is not with what he says...Everyone is in favor of "Huntin' down them terrists and bringin' 'em to justice"<br /><br />My problem is that the underlying actions don't match the words, and never have. There seems to be a fundamental disconnect between his rhetoric and any sort of recognizable reality.
