Also- can you refine your recipe with a time line?
60 min. Boil, hop timeline? When you add the honey? Fermentation timeline? Is this for 5 gallons?
Its been long lost my notes only had recipe , fermentation one month transfer to another bucket add sugar bottle. makes 5 gal, if I rember right 1 1/2 case.

Someone bought me a brew making kit some years back as a holiday gift. It ended up sitting in my basement for a year unused as I was never in the mood for learning all the jargon involved in brewing...I sometimes think I wasted an opportunity there. It's always fun consuming something you made yourself.

I did the same thing. It took me quite awhile to muster the ambition to brew. I finally did, and I’m glad for taking the first step. I encourage you to go for it!!

i used to home brew, but i found the taste awful. thought i was just doing it wrong and gave up. Later tasting some expensive different craft beers, they tasted like my home brew......awful. i realized i was probably making decent beer, just didn't have the sophisticated taste buds to appreciate it! i prefer watered down store bought beer.

Not sure how sophisticated my tastebuds are, but I certainly appreciate the better ingredients in craft beer......to each their own.
