Always wanted to try bow hunting. Up here we have no deer (I wish we did!) but have moose and caribou. Bow season starts 2 weeks ahead of gun season so you could get a jump on the regular shooters. My only hesitation is not wanting to wound an animal and see it running off with an arrow sticking out of its side. People here have taken moose with arrows so I guess it would just be a matter of lots of target practice. Its something on my bucket list for sure! Crossbow hunting is illegal here.
