Anchors

I have a new 231 DC and was provided an 8lb anchor. It is not heavy enough so they upgraded me to a 13 lb but the anchor wont fit into the anchor compartment - the shape is odd. Does anyone have the same boat and could recommend n anchor?

Don't have the boat, but what kind of anchor should be preceeded by what kind of bottom do you anchor most often?

i appreciate the comment. Most of the time it will be a sandy bottom. Choctawhatchee Bay. Between Destin and PCB, FL

Need something that will dig deeper as it gets pulled, so a Plow or Danforth. The weight of the anchor is not so much as to the type. Then need at least 10 feet of chain (more the marrier) to help keep it on the bottom and digging
