I have a 1970 60 hp evinrude with ignition problems. The amplifier has 4 wires, red(or purple), grey, blue, and yellow/black striped. My wiring diagram from manual only shows 3 wires? Any ideas?
I'm more familiar with the later, Magneto CD system, but I'm thinking that the yellow/black circuit is the "kill circuit," as it is on the '72, 65hp engine.
