http://www.americasdeckboat.com/americadb.htm
Hi, I just bought a boat like the one pictured on the above web site. Does any one have any info on this company and the boats they made? I was hoping someone would be online tonight with some info. I am emailing the company but who knows when they might get back to me. Thanks.

Andrew

looks like a Hurricane deckboat. They used to be built in Gatesville.

Re: America's Deck Boat

You are correct about the boat being made in Gatesville, TX. I did not know it may be a boat called a "Hurrican." There are a couple of, heck, what do you call them, "metal emblems" on the boat that say "The Deck Boat" in cursive writing. I tracked the company down via searching for "Gatesville, Texas" and found the web site that I linked in my first post. However, it is not much of a website so I emailed the company and so far no response. I did find a similar boat, a 2000 model, for sale. Hopefully the boat manufacturer will get back with me shortly. I would like to know more about it such as capacity, power, get a manual for it, etc.

Andrew

I tried to click on your link in your original post but couldn't get it to load. I too just got an old Deck Boat which says Gatesville, TX on the side. I am trying to find accessories and other info about the boat. Did you get anywhere?
