Alternator parts... Where can I get them?

Does anyone know where I can get alternator parts? More specifically, I need the outer case.

Alternator # 862031T, Delco # 19020609

My 5.0 Mercruiser alternator froze up on me. Further investigation found the rotor had rusted up on it. Although I have a new one on the way, I wanted to try and tinker with the rusted one to see if I could get it working for a back up.

Unfortunately, the mounting bolts as well as the screws that hold the case together broke off.
I might be able to drill them out, but it would be much easier if I could just get a fresh case.

Any idea who sells just the case? Is there a supplier on the internet? Maybe someone has a good case with bad parts inside?

I haven't had much luck in finding parts other than your conversion kits, diodes, etc...

Thanks,

H.

Ask a couple of local marinas, they know them.

Is the case on a marine alternator the same as the automotive equivalent? if so, an auto junkyard would work for this piece.
