So I noticed on my dash that the volt meter was reading around 8 volts. My next outing I took my volt meter and texted straight off the alternator. It was showing 22 volts. So I pulled it and took it to autozone to get it tested and of course they couldn’t figure out how to test it because I couldn’t tell them what vehicle it came off. So I just ordered another one off Amazon. Put it on today and it’s showing 18 volts. Took batteries to get them tested and they were fine.
Any suggestions has to what is causing this?
