Alternate oil pressure port

Ok as some of you know, I recently installed a "t" fitting to be able to accept the sending unit and my newly installed oil pressure switch for my electric fuel pump. My question is this, is there an alternate location that I can install my mechanical oil pressure gauge? I have a 1990 7.4 motor..

Nope,if you want the electric guadge,fuel pump switch,and a mechanical guadge,you need another "t".

Ayuh,.... Chevy V-motors have oil pressure ports, down low port side near the filter boss, 'n next to the distributor, just aft of the intake manifold,....

So how close is it in proximity to the standard location where my sending unit is currently?

I don't know where your sending unit is right now. The 2 ports are :1 by the oil filter, the other just to the rear of the dist.

Yeah,I forgot about the one by the filter,to many hours at work and up to early....3.00 am most days.....
