Alpha magnet plug??

I serviced my alpha's this week...Is there any concern with a bit of metal on the magnet plug... not a lot, but it was like a little "furry"... I am thinking I am ok, just want to be sure....

Nope, its normal

The furry particles sounds about normal to see on the drain plug magnet....What you don't want to see is heavy type metal particles in the oil catch pan nor a heavy milky color mixture meaning water.

when potato chip sized parts start coming out, then you need to be concerned
