alpha gen II resivoir ?

I am looking at a used drive alpha one gen II but notice that it has a
connection , hole for resivoir and my original drive doesnt . Is there something i have to do , to make this work , or plug hole ?

Ayuh,.... Are you Sure your original is a Gen.II,..??

To answer Bondo's question first, the early Gen II drives didn't have the reservoir, there for, no need for the opening in the drive. In later years the quick disconnects were installed in the drive and the bellhousing.
To Billder62.
The drive will work fine. There is a seal in the new gasket that will go around the quick disconnect in the drive. Since it's flat on the drive, it just butts up against the bellhousing and does nothing.

Thanks Don , just want to make sure . My original is a 1992 gen2 with no resevior .
