I'm doing a trim cylinder seal replacement. Not taking off lines so it's on the boat. I got the end cap off easily. When I started to pull the piston out the fluid started pouring out tilted up. I pushed it back in and tightened to cap for now. Should I extend the trim all the way out first to help with fluid loss? Should I add fluid to the cylinder before putting the end cap on to help with the bleeding when I'm done? The trim pump is nearly impossible to get to just to add fluid. Trying to make it as easy as possible. I watched all the videos redoing the seals in the end cap. Any other tips or tricks?
