again, newby question, as i have gotten yes' and no's. i need to replace current teleflex steering cable with one a foot longer. i've come across "UFLEX" "MORSE" as well as teleflex. can i use any of these, or do i need to stay with teleflex?
No, you can use either. The main problem with switching from one cable manufacturer to the other is end connections and actual length. If you stay with what you have then your replacement is a shoe-in to fit.
If you can locate someone who has a cross reference manual then you should be all set.
For the extra couple of bucks for the real deal it would be worth it to me. If nothing else then for the possible aggravation a wrong one might cause.
