Pulled carpet off of boat deck passenger area found a pink material cracked and chipped, possibly bondo I'm going to sand it off but was wondering what type of application I should use to fix the mess..I have been told that I should use a polyester resin compared to a epoxy one because of the adhesive not letting the carpet glue set up on top? Attached are the pictures of the deck. Thanks.
