Adding a speaker to my lowe stinger and accidentally cut the red/green/blue wires running to ingnition/throttle box. I reattached the cables and secured but now nothing on the dash works. How could this be? It was a simple cut and an almost simpler reattachment of like colored wires. The ignition box runs to a '06 mercury 50hp outboard. I'm absolutely baffled. If anyone has suggestions, i'm all ears. was acutally packed up and ready to head to the lake for some early holiday weekend fishing. I'm ALL ears! :blue:

Make sure you didn't blow a fuse. Re-check your connections. Also make sure gear lever is completely in neutral.

Those wires are for the trim, the red wire is power to the switch. Look for a blown fuse on the motor.

Thanks to you both! I've checked all the connections and am looking over the fuses on the battery now. All fuses on the fuse board look good so battery is all that could be left. I'm actually gonna replace them as they "looked" fine when checked. Thanks again y'all!
