John, here it is......

There are a few things you need to know about generators. Once in place, we have to polarize the fields. We'll do this once you have it hooked up.
Schematic,

I ordered those parts on November 22nd and they still arent here. I keep calling Greg but he is never there when I call. He was supposed to send me a tracking number the day the parts were shipped but never did. I have called 6 time already and each time I get the same responce, Greg is not there but who ever I speak to tells me they will get the tracking number and email it. It is starting to cost me more in long distance bills than it's worth. Could you try and contact Greg and get the tracking number.

Re: Accessory wiring & Guages

hi john:

Ordered some parts from greg today actually. Hey mentioned that he was getting something for you. I don't mind being the go between for you. Just e-mail me at schematic2@yahoo.ca with your e-mail address, and I'll keep yous in touch. :)

I can tell you one thing though......shipping from Can to US or vice versa is slow. Takes about 3 weeks when they say 4-6 days. Happened to me 3 times now since war started. I'm sure its on its way...

Schematic,

Thanks for your help. I talked with them on Saturday and got the tracking number. Only problem was they didn't purchase package tracking according to usps.com. I guess I'll keep waiting and wondering. I should have anticipated delays because of the tightened border security.

Tarpon Bob,

I'm out in Seminole County near Lake Monroe about 3hrs north west of you.

And to everyone,

I took the boat out on the intercostal yesterday looking for some shrimp and ran into some engine trouble.

We we crusing just below full throttle and lost engine power. With the throttle wide open we were running at idle speed. Just as this happened the engine sounded like it had made a muffeled backfire. When we got the boat home the engine started right up but it sounded very different than normal. What should I look at first? I need some good advice.

John:
Check for spark on both cylinders. That engine has an old style rev limiter that may be killing one cylinder prematurely. If you find one cylinder without spark, try disconnecting the two wires off of the center terminal below, and try again.....
Re: Accessory wiring & Guages

Well guys, It is now December 19th and still no generator. I called the place I ordered it from and they gave me the tracking number but according to the post office there was no tracking purchased. I speciffically asked for tracking. Oh well, you win some and you loose some. I have contacted the seller again and they are looking into it. I should know more by tonight. Just thought I would give you guys a status update.

Hey Seaman,

I know this was back some time but do you still have that diagram. I am looking for almost the sam thing. I bought a boat and they messed up all the wiring. Ran everything with no junction box. I am redoing it.
