A true sign spring is almost here.

Although we still have 2 feet of snow everywhere, I can see grass over the septic tank, the size of a garbage can lid.

Once you see that it just spreads out, I should be cutting the grass by April LOL

heh, we should have 3-4 feet on the ground, but we only have a foot or so. I agree, the warm septic melt is nice to see. And its always bright green!

We haven't had hardly any snow to play with round here this winter, kind of a drag. We only got a couple good sledding days and one real snowman out of the deal!

All our snow melted during the last heat wave but we are expecting snow down to 4,000' soon.

The daffodils and Crocus have been sticking their heads out of the ground for the past 2 weeks. Should have flowers in 2-3 weeks

Just got back from a 60 mile ride. Trails were very good. Especially the forest roads. I left my sled in the trailer during the "marginal" snow some guys were riding. But ya, we're just beginning to sled. Which stinks, because it could be all over in a month.........out:

Winter's going relatively easy here. The snow is all gone at the moment, and it hasn't been too cold except for a week or so a little above zero. But I must be going a little stir crazy anyway, I found myself researching Minimax's this morning, an dreaming about old outboards with self-contained fuel tanks! :faint2: I swore I'd never do another boat....:lalala:

Starting to feel heat from the sun again. Was only 24?, but I was able to be outside w/o a jacket for a while. Good ol' sunshine....

Well here we go day 5 of over freezing temps, +1C-+4C

Took out the ditch witch and cut the built up snow on the driveway down 4 inches in some places, sure was a lot of drive way POOP!!!
Well better driveway poop than in the house accidents, just hate hitting a fresh one with the snow blower.
(YUP sh#t does hit the fan around here)

The out buildings and shop have not had thier snow slide of the roofs yet, hopefully that will happen this week.

LMAO. Yep, that was back in 98, 99. Too funny. I find it amusing that 6-10 inches of snow here is a "major winter storm" while 15-20 years ago it was just considered flurries with a possible 6-10" accumulation.

This is getting depressing, rains down town at night, we get 4 inches of snow overnight, this has been going on and off for the last week.
Even though we are over the freezing point by +2-+4c during the day we are making no real progress in the melting department up here.
