Bruce, I would never joke about the Constitution being silly. I was making a rhetorical joke. But you felt the need to comment on it, thanks.
Just answering your question Billy.

I saw the rhetorical question, but I think it needs to be funny before it can be classed as a rhetorical joke. ;)

Far be it from a Canadian to interfere here, but I think I've already unintentionally been front and centre in diverting this from the OP's original educational and patriotic intent. (sorry Bubba)

1) NWCOVE....The light just went on...I think you are confusing the Revolutionary War with the later skirmish, the War of 1812. The latter one was something of a Mexican Stand-off... to stick with the North American descriptors...but the 1775 dust-up was definitely a TKO, after the Redcoats took their third standing eight-count in the fourth round.

2) My question about the number of Congressmen/Congresspeople/Reps, was rhetorical...but not funny, and certainly not intended to hijack the thread.

So, to redo and start over at my earlier post.... better stated...
Hey, I got six wrong, mostly admin stuff:

I am an iBoats member, but I'm not smarter than a fifth-grader.

My tenant that lives next door to me, is Miss Political on her Facebook page and always posts a picture of her "I voted" sticker. I asked her the other day who our member of the House was. She looked at me with this blank stare. I asked how many members of Congress we vote for. She said 1. I asked her what about our Senators. She says, "They aren't Congress"! Duh!

Bet she's probably one that votes for the letter next to the candidates name on the ballot rather than paying attention to the actual person, and what they stand for.
