You said the Large trailer was next to you. If he was next to you he was parked wrong but the guy parked in front of you was parked correctly? I can't draw the picture in my head.

I have seen trailers with a padlock and non locking hitch pin??? That I have removed in the past to get out but returned it back to normal and left a nasty message on their window.

Can't believe it!!

Just tried to get my Learjet out for the day at Dubai airstrip and some numpty has parked his Maserati in front of it

Can't park it right at the launch. Can't park it right at the strip. Blah Blah Blah. Some people are never happy. Beginning to think you're the admiral in disguise.:p

That was my submarine maserati in that lot,i was reloading some torpedoes in it to shoot at all the dumb*sses that don,t know how to use a boat ramp or parking lot for cars and or trucks with trailers.

The more I think about this, the guy that parked in front of you is actually the guilty party.

Think about this for a minute:

1. The guy that parked next to you followed your lead - He didn't know where to park so he figured you knew what you were doing, so he just followed suit and pulled in parrallel to you. Also realize that he had to have beat his two buddies (at least the guy in front of you) there or he would have pulled up even to the guy in front of you. (remember his trailer was empty and he wouldn't want anyone parking in front of him)

2. The guy behind you had to be the 2nd guy of the offending party to arrive, saw his buddy at the dock, but saw the 3rd party hadn't arrived yet so he just went & parked behind you in the first spot (next to the wall). He probably realized that "vehicles" with trailers at the launch prefer to pull out going forward to approach the ramp when retrieving their boats.

3. The guilty guy was in a hurry because he knew he was late & his buddies would probably leave without him for being late. In his scurry and excitement, he just parked & ran to the dock before he was left behind. The jerk never looked behind your vehicle as he would have seen a trailer and another vehicle. Obviously a "newbie" to the world of trailer parking/boat launching and I'm willing to bet he didn't have any experience with parking a boat trailer anywhere.

Analogous to this, (amazingly) during a light snowfall, I've seen people at a mall where there are 2 parrallel rows of parked car. Inevitably some clown tries to start a 3rd parrallel row and someone gets blocked in.

Hopefully, the guilty party found out about his "mistake' from the guy with the locked trailer...or maybe he went nuts trying to figure out how you got out of there.

I'm quite surprised that this thread has run as long as it has?... I wouldn't think that iboats wouldn't condone the sabotage/vandalism of another boaters property by their members... let alone posting threads bragging about it.

Yes. sometimes we or the people ahead of us take to much time to launch... and sometimes we and those around us don't park properly, but is this just grounds for sabotage/vandalism??? Does iboats support these acts???????

I'm pretty sure that this thread shouldn't have even been started, nor should it have been left to grow!

Vandalism/sabotage is cowardly trechery... I sure do hope that no more than the couple that have admitted it commit these acts!

Let me know when and where you'll be launching your boat the next time you go out and I'll show you!... is that clear enough?

... or do I need to tell you that I'll be keying both sides of your tow vehicle and loosening the lug nuts on all of your tow vehicle wheels and your boat trailer... oh! then I'll be unbolting your hitch reciever on your trailer and taking it home with me, I hope you don't mind... you really miffed me when you took more than 2 min 30 sec when you launched and you parked with one of your trailer tires over the white line separating the parking spaces!!!

... are we on the same level now?... or do I need to lower myself some more???

So, you've reduced yourself to threats of vandalism and assault but Marcoalza was in the wrong for securing a fellow boaters trailer to his vehicle for safety? YOU ARE A PIECE OF WORK! BTW, you need to be careful of what you say and who you say it to. Some people could misinterpret your post as threatening bodily harm or terroristic threats. I wouldnt want to see you get yourself in hot water.
