Jerry Reed, at 71, complications of emphysema. I thought he was great, he will be missed.

It is too bad...I always like Jerry Reed. Ironically we just watched 'Gator' a couple of nights ago. I guess he and Burt were pretty good friends which speaks to some of the movies they did together.
Who could forget "when you're hot you're hot"

Sad news. He was a gifted musician and all around funny guy. I will miss Jerry Reed for sure.
