99 merc 25 hp leaking fuel

I have a 1999 25 hp merc that is leaking fuel under the cowl . I think it is hitting the flywheel and splattering all over . I have ran the motor in my driveway and cannot find the leak . the motor runs fine . any help on where this leak may be would be appreciated .

I have found the leak it is between the crankcase and the cylinder block . could the two halves be loose or do I have a bigger problem ? the motor runs fine it just makes a mess.

If it is a fuel leak it should be easy to find. Just remove the hood and hook up your fuel tank and squeese the primer bulb on the hose till it's firm. This will pressurize the fuel system and make the leak obvious.
