What would be a good starting point for prop size for this boat and motor combo ? 3 or 4 blade? Stainless or aluminum isn't an issue Thanks!

Have you no prop on it now for reference ? Very difficult without a starting point or even a gear ratio.

What model 21’ Sea Ray?

I run the same motor, different hull. 15x15 Enertia on my 22’. 14 x 19 Stiletto on my 21.

It's a sea ray amberjack center console. The motor I purchased came with no prop on it...which is why I'm asking for opinions. I dont need speed. Just something that is good all around.

I have a '98 Johnson 150HPV6, on my Seaswirl 21 DC. I run a 17P prop. I have been running 3 blads props, but this year I will try a 4 blade, 17 P prop

If a CC a 24P is more inline...….Chris BIG difference between a 60degree 150 and 90 degree 200

So when looking for a prop with the "prop finder" formula should I enter the boats dry weight or fully loaded weight? I'm assuming loaded weight, but wanted to be sure. Thanks

Ok So I snagged a solas aluminium prop yesterday from a friend to get a starting point, it's a 15 1/2 by 19 I believe and the motor WOT was 5,000 and wouldn't go any higher.manged to get about 42 mph top speed. So I need to go down in pitch? To like a 16?
