98 Nitro 640lx

I am trying to find the maximum hp for my 98 Nitro 640lx. It does not have the sticker for weight, capacity and maximum hp. Boat dealers cannot help it seems.

Nitro probably didn't change the 640 XL very much over the years:

Do the specs for the 2005 match yours? Length, Beam, Weight?

Looks the same. That was very helpful. Finding answers for my husband. He thought he could put a 115hp Mercury on it but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

24 gallon fuel tank.
Total weight capacity of 1080#, including all people, gear, motor, fuel, and beer.

So keep your gear and people weight below 700# and you should be under the limit.
