97 Johnson 90hp won't lower

I raised my 97 90hp Johnson motor to work on the lights on my trailer and now it won't lower back down to the run position. It acts like it is hitting a stop of some kind. I raised it to the max to give myself more room to work and now it will not go back down. I'm at a loss

Trim motor spins?

If not, tap on the relay and see if it starts going.

Trim motor does spin. It sounds normal it just acts like it has reached it's maximum travel range.

Low on fluid, or air in the system. Untighten the relief screw and cycle it.

Does it have lock position on it?

Some motors do have mechanical locks, even when they have PTT.

Thanks for the ideas. I went out this morning and it worked just fine. I will check the fluid and make sure there is no air in the system. Thanks again.
