'97 9.9 Gamefisher/Mercury fuel pump

My motor is showing the symptoms of needing the fuel pump replaced. What parts do I need? The parts manual shows gaskets, plate assemblies, reeds, and a diaphram. Can I just replace the diaphram or is there an assembly I can order?<br /><br />Bowfin

You can get a kit and rebuild it. Should be less than $20.00.

Check that little tiny screen on the inlet side of the fuel pump in the fitting....
