96 evinrude 15 hp 4-stroke carb help

just got a 1996 evinrude 15 hp 4stroke today...super super clean...like brand new...

came out of an estate sale auction.

pump the primer ball and it gets solid...but the carb isnt getting gas...

I have a spray bottle with gas in it , and I can shoot a shot into the carb and the motor fires over for a second, and dies...

I loosened the cap on the fuel filter and it sprayed fuel..

so fuel is getting there, then I popped the fuel line off the carb and squeezed the primer ball...shot gas 20 feet!!!

so gas is being deliverd to the carb..

after that it isnt making its way to the jets, I guess..

now i figure a carb dissasemble and rebuild is in order, but I thought Id ask beofre I get started

the carb works very similar to a 2 stroke carb, correct?

there isnt any other filter inside the carb is there???

other than getting the carb rebuild kit..

does anyone know, or have an idea of the passage or potential blockage spot in this four stroke carb???

thinking to make sure I look at the culprit location very closely when i rebuild this carb.

I mean it isnt getting ANY gas via the internals of the carb!
