Hi everyone, I have never owned a boat before but fell in love with a 94 C-C concept 268. The owner now is the 2nd, and I am wanting to be the 3rd. I know the boat is old but it's in immaculate condition, the engine is OMC Cobra 7.4 GL and the drive is an OMC king cobra. All of it from the outside looks well serviced and maintained with no leaks or dry rot starts right up. Full fiberglass hull didn't hear any soft spots. Oh, I forgot I will love to use it in both salt and fresh water. Any thoughts on the boat whether good or bad. Can I still find parts for her?

There are no parts available for the king cobra. Buy it assuming it's a project and if you have to do drive work, plan on potentially replacing everything but the block and heads

Red Flag thanks Scott. The owner never mentioned anything about that SMH...
One thing to keep in mind as you continue your boat search is how much of the work can you realistically do yourself?

If you need to rely on taking the boat somewhere look around at what shops are near you and what they support. while the King Cobra is a different animal than the cobra, it seems like folks who are keeping OMC stuff going are on their own for parts and service.

Just something to consider as even though this boat seems well maintained and cared for it will need something.
