93 90hp lower engine cover

I have a lower engine cover that is bent bought the engine that way how hard of a job is it to swap this out from what I can see from the pictures of the cover the power block has to come off?

And step #1 on a motor like that is a compression test.----For future reference.-----Post the actual values you get.

Motor is good no issues there just the previous owner hit something with the housing and it’s bent so the hood doesn’t seal correctly so I was going to fix it but not sure if it’s worth all of the work for an 1/8” gap
