My trim motor finally quit. I pulled off the tilt-n-trim unit and was able to remove the trim motor after drilling out the philips SS screws.
The problem I'm now having is finding a replacement trim motor. I checked the online BRP part catalog and the motor listed is a four bolt. Between searching the net and ebay, there a lots and lots of part numbers for 3 bolt motors. My trim-n-tilt unit has a part number on the back but I can't make it out. My guess is: 353010.
Any techniques on how to highlight the part number? I tried a marker and wiping. Since my motor is an SPL, the trim-n-tilt unit might be a different year then 1993.
Thank you!!!
