91 4.3 no water circulation

So I got my boat ready for the summer... installed plugs and fired it up on muffs and I'm not getting any water flow exiting the drive.

It's a 91 4.3 mercruiser

You guys have any idea what may have happened?

Where to look first?

I should add its raw water cooled

Agree, and being a 91 model it could be a Gen 2 or Gen 1
In any case, its in the lower section of the drive

1991 is the cross-over year for Alpha One and Alpha One gen II...

Please provide serial numbers for engine and drive... It's the only way we'll know what you're working on.

Ayuh,..... While you've got the lower unit off,....

Back-flush from the in-comin' port at the t-stat housin' hose, to flush out anything in that area, like old impeller bits,.....

If the impeller you take out is missin' pieces, they ALL must be found,....
