Alright first time posting to one of these things but I’ve been researching for days and can’t get a straight answer.
I just got an old tohatsu labeled M40C with a tohatsu 35hp cowling. In the manuals I have found it is saying there is no pee hole and only the water out of the back idle ports, does anyone know if this is correct?? I see where the pee hole should be but it is completely solid blocked off inside and before I go stabbing around in there (probably end up drilling) I wanted to know if this was supposed to be blocked off for some reason. The manual shows the M40CEF and CEP with a pee hole as the cooling water check port but for the M40C it is pointing to where the idle port is. Please help. Thank you in advance!
