9.9 Suzuki doesnt rev up

hi i have a 1988 9.9 suzuki it is oil injection. I got a mechanic to clean the carb and he said that compression was great. I put this boat in the water on my 12 ft V Hull and it barley hit 6MPH. Whenever i give it gas it revs up until half throttle then when i give it full throttle it just acts like its still only half throttle. Whats Wrong???

If compression is good Check to make sure spark is good on all cylinders at problem RPM and that timing is advancing properly.
if all that is good there then you are left with fuel problems
Fuel pump or carb
