It was running fine the day prior. now with throttle wide open the engine will only idle.???????

I have not looked at the problem very seriously yet. I'm headed to the marina to have a looksee now. What is the spark plug gap on an 89 Johnson? Thanks for your help.<br />More later <br />Putter

Is there any metric fans in PHX (Phoenix?)?<br />7.5/8.0 Comm. 1977-98 NGK B7HS10 or BR6HS 0.8 mm <br />

have found the throttle can roller broke on more than a couple of those motors (plastic)
