Is this the right impeller for 125 force yr 83-89

Different suppliers ... different part numbers.
It may fit your 125Hp Force, what you have to check is if your engine has 1 piece drive shaft gear case or 2 piece.
In those years 1988-89 Force had different gear case at the 3 and 4 cylinder engines.
They changed from 1 piece drive shaft to 2 piece in that time and maybe a pre owner have change the LU.

I have a 1988 85Hp Force that should have 1 piece drive shaft LU from factory BUT it has a 2 piece.
There is different impellers for these two.

Mercury suppliers has OEM impellers and maybe kits, this site (Sierra brand) or Mastertech marine has aftermarket impellers and kits.

Important is 1 or 2 piece drive shaft LU.

That's for a Mercruiser or Mercury outboard.

FK 1069 is the kit 149$

The 89 was a change over for the type of pump used.

The older was a pot metal and had no insert in the housing.

The new has a stainless cup and uses a different impeller.

Ok so an update. I have done a little more research and found out I actually have an 86 force 125. Should I buy this kit which is 18-3214D from Sierra. TIA

NO.

803630T this is the part# for the impeller.
You probably don't need the housing as they can be in real bad shape and still work great.

Sierra 18-3030 is the part#
