89 9.9 Evinrude fuel pump problem

Greetings,
I just rebuilt my carb and fuel pump(No diagrams with it). Motor idles fine but when running up to WOT it dies unless I pump the primer. Could I have rotated a gasket wrong in the pump to cause this or would I have the same problem at idle. I have checked all fuel line connections as they are all new items. The only thing I see is with the tank/motor connectors seem kinda loose but they are locked into position. Thanks for any input.

No diagram, whoa, that's a tough feat for those pumps. I can email you the OMC instructions if you want to double check it. PM me
