thanks, dont seem like much interest here for bass boats lol but i get it most folks here like the bow riders and tinnys , lol
I prefer the style I got but am extremely jealous of the speed a bass boat has. I am in the learning stage with boats. So I tend not to post much, the old addage better to be quiet and be thought a fool. Than open your mouth and remove all doubt.

The stripe down the side looks cool ! Couldn't you use the same stuff on the hatch covers as the deck ?

Funny you should say that... When I first started looking at getting a boat last summer, I briefly looked at finding a used bass boat to re-build. Didn't see anything interesting at the time that was also cheap enough for me to afford. Tin boats were just too much money for what you get (in my opinion). So, I got distracted and ended up buying the old Sea Ray (the 185) and have had fun with that, and then ended up getting even more distracted and bought a 24' Sea Ray.

Bow riders haven't interested me at all...

Anyway, your boat is looking good!

OMG, you have done more on your new to you boat in the little time you've had it then I have in 4 years on mine. Goes to show I am slooowwww.

I love Bass Boats and really would like to see more refurbished on these forumms. But it seems there are not too many of them to follow along. I'd love to refurbish a Bass Boat like that. My little tri-hull is okay, but I really want another Bass Boat to fish from eventually. I applaud your effort thus far. You do have some interesting ideas. Bravo :thumb:

today I went and picked up monishka got er fired right up but alas i think the shady area i parked it grew stuff on it so i got lots to clean but eh she fired right up and screamed take me out dang it :)
did bilge area while waiting on new bilge pumps and areator pumps, im putting 2 2000gpm bilge pumps in and 2 800 gph areator pumps if i get swamped i will switch on the second pump, other then that the primary bilge pump will keep things fine .

so i am worried this epoxy shield isn't setting up in the Bilge! man if i have to dig all that back out i wont be pleased, i knew i should have cut the bags open and mixed with my drill in a pail like normal but figured hey, follow directions mixed for 5 minutes in the bags and then took and let it sit for 30 minutes.... knew something wasn't right because it wasn't putting off heat but then wondered if that's just the way it is .... will post more later if it don't harden....

mr, give it some time. Some times it takes longer. My first mix of polyester and MEKP took three days to harden. And like you, I followed the directions to the letter because I didn't know any other way. So don't get too excite yet. Give it some time and see. JMHO

ya it never set , got it out of there and went with a single part epoxy paint , not much of a bilge area anyways but wanted it clean and tidy before i installed new bilge pumps and the areators, pics later today on that final install then i can reinstall the gastank and finish this thing up, depending , water trials might be in the future for sunday :)

Mick,
What size, mfg, bilge pumps did you put in Monishka? That's my next purchase.

on her i just used the 800 gpm with internal float but i just decided to use 2000 gal bilge pumps on the bass boat since it has a higher chance of getting flooded
