88' johnson gt150 steering bracket.

Well, I removed my motor and broke a bracket for the steering tube. What is this bracket called and where do I get one? Thanks to all.

It looks like it's called a mounting bracket, part number 0123606.
Google OMC 0123606 and you will find out all about it.

The one you have looked 'aftermarket' to me.

Thanks for the information. Mine bolts on and I don't know that the one you referenced attaches. I wondered if the one I have is there because of the jackplate so the previous owner didn't have to buy a longer steering cable.
