Those cracks suck, I'm thinking your right trailer rollers were the main cause. If they only put more rollers on??

still making progress, slowly... finally got all the white paint stripped, and started polishing the transom

thanks Waterman, that pic the hull bottom isn't polished yet, the hull is only sanded. The only part polished is the transom. I reloaded the pic that I couldn't see earlier of the transom. How do you upload pictures on the new site? I'm not liking the changes much.

Hey astor, the best way to post pics with the new changes is open a free Photobucket account upload there then copy and past the IMG code for each pic into your post.

The forever project update, I think I've finished the polish job, plan is to flip back over this weekend. This picture was taken when it just started to rain.

Thanks guys, although I wouldn't recommend it. Stripping the paint was a pain, aircraft stripper wouldn't remove it all, sanding with two grits upto 600, then polishing. would have been easier to sand and repaint.

uh oohh! A big sister to the 18ss followed me home today. Picked up a 261v, in really decent shape, only needs a few minor tweaks, no rebuiild/restore on this one. just sucks to have to put it up for the winter.
