Hello,my first post,hope it don't hurt, picked up an 87 hydra sport and am doing a top off resto,been reading lots of stuff on this site and what a help its been,thanks to all who that the time to answer questions and help guys like me sleep at nite,my question is now that I have the top off I noticed the wood where the screws go that hold the top to the bottom is completely rotten and needs to be replaced. Its about 1/4 x 1".Do I use exterior grade plywood? Does it need to be fiberglassed ?Do I epoxy it in the groove, Thanks again , this is a really good site and when I get a little farther ill post some pics ,Thanks ,Ken
