Working on an 87 Force 125 .No tilt/trim. There are no relys for the tilt motor under the cover. The dash switch looks like it carries the load as there are 3 large gauge wires to the switch. A green for down, blue for up and a common. Should this supply +12vdc or does it supply the ground to complete the circuit? I checked it with a meter with ignition switch on and no voltage in any terminals. Am I missing something?

What color is your motor? The white stopped in 86. the 87 was blue.
The 87 should have the relays under the hood, unless it was ordered without T@T. I never saw a 1987/125+ without T@T However some 85's came without it.
The older 1986 and past had the switch on the dash with #10 wires that went to the T@T. The 3 wires Red(power), Blue(up) Green(down).
The red was attached to the battery along with the black ground wire, both found in the battery box area..
