First off, I know next to nothing about outboards. Here are my problems, I really hope someone can help! I put the earmuffs on the motor with the garden hose attached. I start the motor, it runs for 5 seconds and dies. I hear the alarm sounding and no water out the tell tale! I compression tested the cylinder (Just like I do with Cars) About 120 in each cyl. The fuel bulb on the tank feels like there is pressure. Can anyone help??

Welcome to iboats. Try running it in a barrel making sure that the intakes are covered in water before you start it. You are better off making sure that the water is halfway up the lower unit. If it still sounds your overheat alarm then you must replace your water pump. Get a good manual and do it yourself. Not that hard.
