I have been given a 86 bayliner that wasn't winterized and developed a crack in the block. I can get a used 305 or 350 for basically nothing. The boat is in good shape and my question is how difficult is it to switch the engine and is it worth it to go with a 350 block. Thanks, Matt

350 is the way to go. Everything should bolt up. 350 flywheels and rear seals changed over the years so you may want to find one with block numbers from the same vintage. You'll need the correct cam and new exhaust Manis and risers.
