Now that I figured out how to upload photos I will be able to share my progress. My barn is less than a hundred yards from my house. It is heated, has running water most any tool that I could possibly need. If it is not there it is probably in my work truck. I guess what I am getting at is I have no excuses. I always say that I am to busy, but we all know that if you want to do something you find the time. I think maybe I am getting lazy, old and tired. Or maybe all three.
I do have some incentive . My young son who was in some of the earlier photos has grown into a young man. I told him that if he helps me finish this boat, he can have it. So hopefully it will be a win win. I’ll get to spend some more time with my son before he goes off to school. He will get a chance to learn a few more things from the old man, and if not he will at least get a boat out of it. Here is a photo of how close the barn is to my house. Those photos are kind of misleading as they are from September of 2018 and were on my iPad. I can honestly tell you that nothing has changed other than the trees are bare and we have snow on the ground.

Good to see that you are still active on here.i was just looking at your at your 22’ Islander thread and saw that it hasn’t been active for a year. When I was young we had a 1976 22, Islander with a 165hp MerCruiser. I loved that boat. I Pulled it with a Ford F-150 with a 300 six cylinder and only slowed down on the larger hills.
Do you have a project going on at the moment?

Yeah I'm here almost daily and the Islander is my after retirement project I'm hanging onto. I have the little 14' Seafarer that I'm going to get finished up to use on little lakes, ponds and motor restricted waters.
