I'm running a aluminum 10 3/8 X 14 three blade on this motor. My tach at WOT reads just below 5k (maybe 4900) and gps speed is 28.5mph. Book says this engine's range is 5k to 5.5k.
The prop (on it when I bought the boat) is gray painted aluminum and the paint is flaking off. Don't know the brand as it's not cast into it.
Think I ought to set this one aside for a spare and put a lower pitch on there?
Any recommendations as to pitch, diameter or brand?
Let's keep it inexpensive as possible. ;-)
