does anyone have a vaccum diagram for the carbs, there is a bundle of wires beside the carbs and none of them are hookd up. anything would help....

no diagram, but some one has removed the VRO pump, which was a good move.

yes i do believe some one did remove the vro system and i do not see a fuel filter on it anywhere, would it be easier to put a inline fuel filter on it.

Your engine has a recirculation system on it to improve the idling characterisitics. The plumbing diagram for all these hoses is found in the factory service manual. The factory parts list shows an inline fuel filter under the cowling before the fuel pump: 394375.
