Did any manufacturer make a boat in the 29 to 32 foot range, large cuddy, that had a 8'6" beam? Would rather not have an aft cabin. Full bath, refrigerator, microwave, sink, sleeping for two adults (convertible dinnett).

Check out Formula Fastec, Fountain Fever, and Wellcraft Scarab

I know the Formula 336 has an enclosed head, V-berth, and cabin seating. Most of these are go-fast boats, but you can go as fast or slow as you want.

There are/were a few cruiser-style boats with narrow beam back in the 1980-90 era, I think SeaRay and maybe Cobalt had 1 or 2 in their line-up.

Have looked at several go fast style: cockpit area is too small for entertaining, and forward bunk, in size I am looking for, is not much more than a low ceilinged cave. Beginning to think I am looking for something that doesn't exist. Thanx anyway!

8’-6” is a restriction imposed by road use. No demand for a 28-30’ “trailer” boat except for the go fast crowd

Carver, cruisers, searay, bayliner all have had express cruisers in the 26-28 foot length with a 8.6" beam

There most likely are others

However most of these are late 80s or early 90s

Ranger Tugs have a few models that have what you want. I know their 27 footer has a 8’6” beam, not sure about the 29.
I like your screen name!👍

To directly answer your question NOPE.Best bet is a Regal we once owned which was called a 255 Ambassador. It had an 8ft beam .The boat was much larger than a 25ft and had everything you could need.Sleeps 4-6,full bathroom ,convertible dinette and the best part was the queen size aft cabin which we used for sleeping quarters.Yes I did state "Queen size".Aft cabin was huge .Mine was an 84 and I believe that model was unchanged thru 1992.....I think.Charlie
