Hi im fairly new to this forum but just had a question on how to remove the lower unit from my motor. Ive got it dropped about an inch but it wont go any further anything would help thanks.
No but im assuming that would probably be a good idea now that you say that. Do you think thats all that is holding it up or is there more you have to remove on the top end.
it dropped, that is all that is holding it, start some of the bolts back in to hold the lower while you disconnect shift linkage. easier to remove starter, and bottom carb. disconnect battery cable first.
