Took the boat out yesterday after addressing some issues with coolant leakage. Boat ran great, temps were good. We stopped and swam for 30 minutes and the motor wouldn't start, the way it was sounding I suspected no fuel, checked fuel, there wasn't any, in the carb, in the fuel pump, in the line to the fuel pump. We sat there waiting for a boat to come along and tow us, I tried cranking briefly every five minutes. The final time I tried she fired right up and away we went to the dock. She ran beautiful. I assume I have a vacuum lock, is it just a matter of replacing the fuel pump or is it more complicated?
Thanks

Vapor lock is a real pain. Are you using fuel with Ethanol? If so you just might have a vapol lock. Try using fuel without ethanol. Do not use and fuel additive that has ethanol or achol in it. Try opening up the engine cover and ideling for 10 minutes before you shot off the engine.
