What is silly about an all composite seaplane? Icon aircraft is a well known manufacturer of great planes. I think it would awesome, not silly, to be able to take off and fly to your fishing hole, or better yet, land in a small lake not accessible by car, and have exclusive fishing rights.

If that's silly to you, well then laugh at me when I fly over your head, because I'm being silly!

What is silly to one can be a great idea to others, that is why there are different makes, models, and toys. Everyone has the right to their own opinion.
