I was out today and noticed when i gave it throttle it was like a clutch was engaging and the boat would not go anywhere. Like a bearing is spinning durig throttle. What could this be?
I took some pics after I took the prop off. The prop nut wasn't on that tight when i went to remove it. It was a self locking nut. Is this a 1 piece hub/prop or do I have to get the hub pressed off?
Make a mark accross the hub and the prop spindle, then go out and use it again. Afterwards, if the marks no longer line up - you have confirmation that the hub has spun.
